Each 5 ml dose contains the active ingredients: Vitamin B₁ (Thiamine hydrochloride) 0.18mg, Vitamin B₃ (Nicotinamide) 2.1mg and Caffeine 20.2mg. Effico Tonic also contains Gentian Infusion, Sucrose, Ethanol, Summer Fruit Flavour, Ponceau 4R (E124), Quinoline Yellow (E104), Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid & Hydrochloric Acid.

Uses:

Gentle pick me up and appetite promoter to combat the depressing effects that occur when tired, listless, run down, after a weakening illness or hospitalisation and due to too little nicotinamide and vitamin B1

Dosage:

Adults: Two 5ml spoonfuls (10ml)
Children over 6 years: Half to one 5ml spoonful (2.5ml-5ml)
To be taken immediately before meals, three times a day. May be diluted with water if desired.

Special warnings:

Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Consult your doctor before using if you are allergic to aspirin. Do not take if you are pregnant or breast feeding unless recommended by your doctor. Effico Tonic contains 2g sucrose (sugar) per 5 ml and this should be taken into account if you have a disorder related to sugar.
